The Independent Film critics of America’s “Filmmaker In Residence” for 2023 is Director David Hackl (SAW Franchise, Netflix’s V-Wars).
David Hackl has been been in the entertainment industry for over 25 years which has seen him work on television series, game shows, musicals, IMAX, documentaries, and feature films. David Hackl has worked with such talent as Richard Dreyfuss, Mel Gibson, John Travolta, Kate Bosworth, and Scott Eastwood among many others. He is best known for his association with the SAW franchise, which saw him work on SAW II, III, IV, V, VI, and SAW 3D, he also served as the co-executive producer for the Netflix original series “V-Wars”
